Donate food

Hope Nottingham's 14 foodbanks rely on your goodwill and support to provide emergency food

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

You can donate funds to help us purchase and transport food and run our foodbanks HERE

If you would like to donate food, our shopping list below shows the food items that we usually need most and we have various permanent collection points in local supermarkets.

If you are happy to drop off food donations direct to one of our foodbanks, please see the table below for locations and opening times:

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we share food with other local food projects to support their work particularly if they experience shortages or we have surplus approaching best before or use by dates. This ensures your donations are never wasted and support as widely as possible.

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
